Terms of Service

These are the terms for using Impeca. They are written in plain English on purpose. By creating a workspace or using the service you agree to them.
What Impeca is
Impeca is software for managing short-term-rental turnover cleans: scheduling cleans, dispatching cleaners, capturing photo and video proof of the work, reviewing it, and paying cleaners. It is a tool, not a cleaning service. The cleans themselves, and the working relationship between you and your cleaners, are yours.
Your account and your team
Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself and give access only to people you trust. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace, including actions by team members and cleaners you invite. Give us accurate information. Especially your email address, which is how your account is recovered.
Your content
Photos, videos, property details, and everything else your workspace creates belong to you. You give Impeca permission to store and process that content to run the service. Including sending images and video frames to an AI provider for analysis when AI features are enabled on your deployment. We do not use your content for anything else.
Payments
Payments to cleaners are processed by Stripe under Stripe's own terms. Impeca never sees or stores card or bank numbers. Stripe holds them. When you approve a clean, you authorize the corresponding charge to your saved payment method. Bank (ACH) payments can take several business days and can be reversed by banks under bank rules; Impeca surfaces payment status but does not control bank timing. You are responsible for any tax reporting on payments you make to cleaners. Impeca does not file tax forms on your behalf.
Connected services
If you connect third-party services. Hospitable, Slack, Amazon Business, Stripe, smart-lock providers. Your use of them is governed by their terms, and you are responsible for having the right to connect them. Orders you place through a connected Amazon Business account are your orders, on your account.
Damage claims
Impeca helps you assemble documentation for damage claims. You file claims yourself with the relevant platform or insurer. Impeca never submits anything on your behalf and makes no promise about claim outcomes.
Acceptable use
Do not use Impeca for anything unlawful, do not upload content you have no right to upload, and do not attempt to access other workspaces' data or to break the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
No warranty, limited liability
Impeca is provided as-is. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and to the maximum extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Leaving
You can stop using Impeca at any time and ask us to delete your workspace and its data. See the Privacy Policy. We may terminate accounts for breach of these terms.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use the service means you accept the new version.
